Try to do some reading every day and a little writing. Maybe your child could start a diary, storybook or comic that they add to a little each day. Research some of their favourite authors and find some audio books to listen to. David William is streaming for free an audio book at 11am each day.

Maybe they could write on the computer and produce a PowerPoint to share with the family about something that interests them? Keep practising phonics with your child. Try to make everything as engaging as possible. This could be an activity like hunting for word cards in the house or garden and putting them together to build a sentence  or reading to their teddies.
